3rd day

after long waiting on the top of the Krippenstein the organizers cancel the 2nd solo run, because the wind from south is geting stronger and stronger. So the pilot`s was send down at four O`clock. At 5:30 the price giving ceremony was held at the Strandbad Obertraun.

2nd day

 

First run solo and syncro is done now short briefing and than up to the mountain for 2nd run solo, pic`s and results will follow soon.

After the briefing the organizer decided that is never possible to do an regular competition, because the wind and the thermals in the valley get realy strong.

Tomorrow the competition will start at 10:00 O`clock with a syncro run and than we will start the second solo run.

1st day

The savety selection is done all 4 pilot`s are qualified for the competition.
It was posible for 10 pilot`s to do the the 1st run, than the the wind get`s to strong and the Organizer stop the competition.
Tomorrow we hope that we get better weather, so we will complete the 1st run.
In an halfe an hour the Burning Aces are life on stage at the Strandbad Obertraun.

Hallo wenn du uns beim "Acrojam" mit deinem Gleitschirm besuchen kommst bist du natürlich gerne willkommen!

Wir würden dich allerdings darum bitten die Veranstaltung zu akzeptieren und während des Wettkampfes nicht über den See zu fliegen, denn dabei gefährdest du dich nicht nur selbst sonder auch andere Personen, das selbe gilt beim über fliegen des Publikums.

Ansonsten wünschen wir dir viel Spaß, und wir bitten um Verständnis

Hey, if you visit us at the "Acrojam", you´re also welcome with your glider for sure!

We just want to please you to accept our event and in that case please do not fly over the lake during the competition cause you could endanger yourself or others, the same applies for flying over the audience!

Apart from that we wish you a lot of fun and ask for your understanding.

Das Acrojam ist nun vorbei, wir hatten perfekte Bedinungen und alle waren happy.
Es waren 60 Piloten aus 5 Nationen am Start. Der weitest Angereiste kam aus Columbien. Am Samstag Abend begeisterten uns die Jungs des Lorit Acroparagliding Club mit ihrer spktakulären Flugshow, anschliesend wurde kräftig bei der Beachparty gefeiert. Am Sonntag liesen wir den Tag mit einem Flug noch gemütlich ausklingen.
